    Date and Venue:

June 18 - 20 , 2008  Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel , Cairo.

    Language :

English and Arabic are the official languages of the conference ( simultaneous translation is not available )

    Climate :

June is summer time with average day temperature 30 °C. cooler at night

    Audio Visual Aids :

Data show, slides, overhead projectors and video projectors will be provided during the scientific sessions. Speakers are kindly requested to use 35mm slides, mounted in 5x5 frames.

     Exhibition :

There will be an exhibition of the latest technical equipment and pharmaceutical products.

     Currency :

1 Egyptian Pound (LE) = 100 Piastres. Piastres are in denominations of 25 and 50 PST bills. Pounds (LE) are in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50,100 and 200 LE bills. Due to restrictions ,please avoid bringing in and taking out local currency. Change your money or travelers checks at hotels or banks. 1 US$ = 5.5 LE

     Electricity:

Power supply in Egypt is 220 volt. If you are bringing in electronics, you will need a 110/220 adaptor as well as a European style (two round) converter.

     Important Notes:

All meeting activities will be held in NO Smoking Areas.

     Scientific Program Format:

.	Plenary Lectures:
	The highlight issues related to the overall theme will be presented by distinguished national and international speakers for 45 minuets each.

.	Meet the Expert:
	Several invited speakers will present their data and views, Discussion, both among participating speakers and the audience, will be encouraged. Each session is for one hour.

.	Symposia :
	4 to 5 speakers on specific topics that last 90 minutes , each for 20 minutes

.	Oral Session:
	Presentation should be 20 minutes and will be followed by discussion.

.	Poster Session:
	Participants will display their work in the Exhibit Hall during the conference followed by sessions for poster discussion. The poster board surface will be 70 cm wide by 100 cms height. Illustrations and typed material must be read from a distance of at least 100 cms.

.	Satellite Symposia:
	Scientific associations or commercial firms interested in organizing satellite symposia are cordially invited to submit their programs. Each symposium is 90 minutes
